Involvements:
I grew up in the suburbs about 40 minutes southwest of the cities. Typical suburban neighborhood. I grew up in the church but as a teenager fell away from the Lord. In my late teens I gave my heart fully to Christ and have been serving him ever since.
I went to cooking school for a year and am currently working towards a degree in Marketing at Northwestern College. I plan on going on to seminary after finishing my undergrad.
When I came to this church I absolutely fell in love with what God was doing here and decided I had to be a part of it. After serving and getting more involved I couldn't get enough of the lives that were being touched because of this community and felt a passion to be a part of what God was doing to advance his Kingdom through this church!
My two favorite things in the world are food and people. I love trying new restaurants around town as well as getting friends together to cook and hang out.
