I'm New

If this is your first taste of Substance, there's something we want you to know: We can't wait to meet you! Social media is great, but it's the relationships that make the web stuff worth it. And as you'll soon hear over and over, connection is Substance's main goal. So of course, we have plenty of ways for you to connect.

You could start by attending one of our weekend services. Our attendees are very friendly, and we have a large crew of volunteers that want to make your experience sublime.

If a large church setting seems intimidating, check out one of our small groups (we call them subgroups). They’re formed around common interests, from Marathon Running to Worshiping through Art.

If you’ve come a couple times, and are still feeling a bit isolated, check out our Empowerment Track. Start at Starting Point (an appropriate place) then move through Shift. You’ll learn some of the theory behind Substance’s philosophies and definitely make some new friends.

Whatever path you take, we believe that Substance can offer you a way to connect with God and connect with others. Just take a first step--we’ll help you the rest of the way.
