Alicia Cole | Administration/Financial

Alicia and friends at the Substance picnic

Alicia Cole was born in on a farm in the lovely hamlet of Loyal, Wisconsin (town motto: A Scenic Drive from Marshfield). She has known Pastor Peter & Carolyn for a long time: she was in the youth ministry at Believers Church while they were still youth pastors! After graduation from highschool, Alicia went through the Ministry Training School at Believers Church, and was then hired as part-time youth director and part-time director of the MTS.

During that time, Alicia became involved in video production and trained in a team of people to create and produce videos for the needs of the church.  She created and led a team of people to produce videos for the annual Halloween outreach, called The Nightmare. She also helped facilitate annual youth conferences and was involved in managing the Orbital Club & Concert Venue.  Alicia has also been heavily involved in leading small groups and speaking at women’s conferences.

In the summer of 2004, she moved with Peter & Carolyn Haas to help plant Substance Church.  She is currently serving as the administrator, book-keeper, service producer and creative arts director at Substance Church.  She is also going to school part time at Minnesota School of Business for video production, and after helping plan many of her friends weddings, she started own wedding planning business:  Tying the Knot Planning Services.

Alicia loves hanging out with friends, serving, Scrabble, organic foods & healthy living, cooking, wedding planning, and video production.  Recently, Alicia has helped with production for Revamp (a growing youth & college student conference in the Twin Cities) and was a volunteer crew member for a TPT prostitution documentary. Her continuing goal is to use both her multimedia and administrative gifts to show testimonies of how God is moving in people's lives.
