Although only in his mid-thirties, Peter has become a well-known pastor, author, and conference speaker. After experiencing a radical conversion to Christianity while working in a nightclub as a rave-d.j., Peter and his wife Carolyn dramatically altered their lives towards leadership in the body of Christ.
In late 2004, after pastoring in Wisconsin for close to a decade, Peter relocated to the Minneapolis - Saint Paul area to plant a new church that would reach the expansive unchurched masses. In just a few short years Substance has become one of the fastest growing and youngest multi-site churches in the United States.
Known for it's progressive worship, cell methods, and obvious appeal to unchurched 20-somethings, Pastor Peter speaks at conferences all over the world on progressive church methodology.
More specifically, Peter regularly consults with church planters all over the globe as he serves on the A-Team of the Association of Related Churches. He regularly speaks at college events and pastors conferences on topics of multi-media, church governance/growth methods, and progressive cell methodology.
Currently, Peter, Carolyn, their daughters Lijah and True, and their son Eden live in Minneapolis.
