       I'm Pastor Peter Haas, one of the staff here at Substance. I'm sure one of the first questions you want answered is, "what is this church all about?" Well, truth be told:  I grew up hating church.  So, not surprisingly, we do things a bit differently here.

       Don't get me wrong:  On the surface we look like a typical church that preaches the Bible; but, at Substance, we're also not afraid to do things differently (after all, who would name a church "Substance" anyway?)

        So all of the pages in the "About Us" menu (at the top of the page) are here to give you a better idea of who we are as a church. But perhaps the best way to learn about us is to check out our videos (especially our "virtual visit").  We get hundreds of visitors each week; so, don't be afraid to check out one of our campuses this weekend!
