SUBSTANCE MOMS

Be Encouraged

Our mission is to connect women who are looking for mom-friends, spiritual growth, and parenting tips. We all want to be the best moms we can be. But in order to do that well, we need God’s wisdom and authentic support and encouragement from other mom-friends. No parent is perfect. And here, we drop pretenses and genuinely care for one another.

Communication

Much of our regular communication happens on our Substance Moms Facebook page. Request to join the group in order to stay updated on our up-and-coming opportunities and events. You can also email moms@substancechurch.com.

Fall through Spring

Northtown Moms meets on Wednesday mornings, September 11 through May 20, from 9-10:45 am at the Substance  Northtown Campus. The morning consists of a casual brunch and socializing, speaker, discussion and prayer time. There is no need to RSVP and you are welcome to come whenever you’re able – be it weekly or sporadic. We want you there! Childcare is available for infants through preschool ($2 per child).

Gather Groups are small groups that meet in women’s homes every other week throughout the Twin Cities. Designed for moms with school-aged children, Gather Groups listen to a podcast episode specific to their life stage and then come together to discuss the week’s subject. Gather Groups meet at different times and days of the week, so check out the Substance Small Group Guide for specific details on a Gather Group near you.

Working Moms subgroup is community of women with the heart to empower working moms to grow in their faith, encourage them to find community, and equip them the support they need to embrace their calling in this season as working mamas. Working Moms meets in Minneapolis every other Saturday from 9-11am, and childcare is available. To learn more, join our Facebook group “Working Moms at Substance Church.”

“Connection Nights” are evening events for moms of all stages to build community with other moms at Substance, and a chance to grow personally and spiritually. These events consist of table conversations, a speaker, prayer, and opportunities to get more connected in our Substance family! Dates will be posted on our Substance Moms Facebook page, or feel free to email moms@substancechurch.com with questions. We'd love to have you join us!

Summer

Substance Moms breaks for the summer. Instead of meeting as a large group, women throughout the Twin Cities host book studies, plan playdates, and attend Connect Groups. Check the Substance Small Group Guide for options and details.
